Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and assist them in finding products.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
