Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our modern Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accountability.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, prices, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing the sales floor as needed during downtime.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily targets and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to count change accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
