Responsibilities
- Restock Shelves: Efficiently restock merchandise to ensure store shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing at all times.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in the receiving and organization of new stock deliveries.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor and stockrooms clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
- Product Rotation: Adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to ensure product freshness and reduce waste.
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers during the morning hours to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts, typically between 4:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks.
- Reliability: A strong track record of attendance and punctuality.
- Experience: Previous experience in stocking, warehousing, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of organization.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
