Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous retail or cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle money responsibly.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
