Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions swiftly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers with a warm welcome and provide professional, friendly customer service.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit/debit card payments with strict attention to detail.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor environment.
- Restock merchandise and ensure shelves are properly filled and priced.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in retail or cash handling is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money with high accuracy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
