Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict adherence to company security and cash-handling policies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and checkout area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure stock levels are maintained and shelves are properly stocked.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail sales preferred.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
