Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict accuracy and adherence to security protocols.
- Bag merchandise and maintain a clean, organized checkout area at all times.
- Assist with inventory stocking and price tagging as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of store presentation and service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cash handling is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
