Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area and store premises.
- Assist with inventory stocking, price changes, and merchandise display.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally and promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
