Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs efficiently.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
- Handle cash drawers with strict accuracy and balance daily shift reports.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Monitor the sales floor to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting shopping atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
