Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly smile and ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
- Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area and sales floor.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding product locations and pricing.
- Process and handle gift cards and loyalty program registrations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
