Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict adherence to company security and accounting policies.
- Monitor the sales floor for inventory needs and assist in restocking shelves as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary checkout area at all times.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality cash handling role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to count money accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
