Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and merchandise scanning with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area and store aisles.
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to medium boxes.
