Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products and answering questions.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and check payments, ensuring all receipts and change are correct.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves to maintain a tidy sales floor.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
