Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining high-speed efficiency during peak hours.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve any complaints or issues with a smile.
- Equipment Management: Utilize provided POS systems and scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.).
- Returns & Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges efficiently while adhering to company policies and loss prevention standards.
- Team Collaboration: Assist fellow staff members during rush periods to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Equipment Provided: We provide uniforms and all necessary point-of-sale equipment; no prior setup is required.
- Math Skills: Strong ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
