As a Cashier, you are the face of our brand. You will ensure our customers have a seamless checkout experience while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and answer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation for local shifts.
