Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions using company-provided POS equipment
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and payment systems with precision
- Assist customers with product inquiries and promotional offers
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and display shelves
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily sales reports
- Support inventory management through stock checks and replenishment
- Adhere to all security protocols for cash handling and customer safety
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/transactions
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation to work shifts including weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn company systems
