Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, card, and mobile payments
- Provide friendly, efficient service while greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Bag merchandise, maintain clean checkout areas, and assist with stocking shelves as needed
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies to shift supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all safety protocols, inventory procedures, and loss prevention standards
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash/financial transactions
