Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, seating areas, and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing methods and bean varieties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
