Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, according to company standards.
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms, following all health and safety regulations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing transactions and handling cash or digital payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and brewing techniques to offer recommendations to customers.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, napkins, and pastries as needed throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are a must.
- Availability to work weekends, mornings, and holidays as required.
