Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cold brew) with precision and artistry
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems efficiently
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workspace, equipment, and seating areas
- Collaborate with team to develop seasonal drink promotions
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Train new hires on brewing standards and customer protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience required
- Expertise in espresso extraction and milk texturing techniques
- Knowledge of specialty coffee origins and flavor profiles
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and early mornings
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Positive attitude and passion for coffee culture
