Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Manage cash transactions and POS operations with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow during peak hours
- Source and present fresh pastries and food items with appealing displays
- Participate in weekly inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience or equivalent specialty coffee training
- Proficiency in espresso extraction techniques and milk steaming fundamentals
- Exceptional communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for customer engagement
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles preferred
