Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and teas, following standard recipes.
- Greet customers with a smile, take orders accurately via POS, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain a pristine work area, including cleaning espresso machines, grinding coffee beans, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, cups, and pastries to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash and card transactions with 100% accuracy and adhere to all cash handling policies.
- Upsell beverages and merchandise to enhance the customer experience and meet sales targets.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience in a coffee shop or high-volume restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and drink recipes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and politely.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
