Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and engaging in friendly conversation to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately, processing transactions with speed and care.
- Restock inventory and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize downtime.
- Clean and sanitize utensils, glassware, and equipment regularly to uphold the highest hygiene standards.
- Assist in training new baristas and share your knowledge of coffee origins and brewing techniques with the team.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and drink recipes is a significant plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- A passion for coffee and a commitment to delivering a premium customer experience.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
