Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brew, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide a friendly, memorable experience that keeps them coming back.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the cafe clean, organized, and stocked at all times. This includes cleaning equipment, sanitizing workstations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Point of Sale: Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and manage inventory levels for daily supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with opening and closing duties, including food preparation and trash removal, to ensure the store runs smoothly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidates.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by business volume.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
