Responsibilities
- Brew and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and pastries with precision and speed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment at all times.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and blenders, safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and manage the point-of-sale system with accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist in training new team members and uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
