Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal specialty drinks with precision and speed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the espresso bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently, processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions.
- Restock inventory regularly, ensuring all supplies (milk, syrups, pastries) are available and fresh.
- Engage with customers to build rapport and gather feedback to improve the guest experience.
- Clean and sanitize equipment daily to uphold our high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to master the craft of brewing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for our team dynamic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
