Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and seasonal specials with precision.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive experience.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions quickly and accurately, ensuring cash drawers balance at the end of every shift.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies, and communicate needs to management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service/hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills required for cash handling and POS transactions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
