About the Role:
As a Barista, you are the face of The Daily Grind. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring our customers leave with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines safely and effectively.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily deposits.
- Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.
- Follow all recipes and quality standards to guarantee consistency.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service.
