Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and pastries according to strict recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
- Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including espresso machines, counters, and dining areas.
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in inventory management and adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house team to ensure a seamless workflow.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn about brewing techniques.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
