Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, pour-overs) using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Maintain a pristine workspace by cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and adhering to food safety standards
- Operate POS systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and resolve customer inquiries
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to a positive work culture through teamwork and initiative
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of barista experience or equivalent coffee preparation training
- Basic knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid North Carolina food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
