Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using premium espresso machines and manual brewing techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized beverage recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and seating areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently while processing cash, card, and mobile payments
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service flow
- Source and present fresh pastries, light meals, and café merchandise
- Participate in inventory management and quality control of coffee products
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with strong espresso skills
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
