Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines, pour-over methods, and batch brewers
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized beverage recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, grinders, and service areas
- Operate POS systems accurately while processing cash, card, and mobile payments
- Assist with inventory management of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless service flow
- Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and initiative
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional coffee preparation experience
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent preferred)
