Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages with meticulous attention to taste and presentation
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems with precision and efficiency
- Engage customers with warm, knowledgeable service and product recommendations
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards across all workstations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during peak hours
- Contribute to inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Participate in monthly coffee tasting sessions to refine expertise
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- TAMs or Barista Guild certification preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Food Handler certification required (training provided if needed)
