Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI algorithms for bias mitigation and fairness
- Develop policy blueprints for responsible AI deployment in regulated industries
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision processes
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI risks (quantum computing, synthetic media)
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams on ethical AI implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of AI governance experience
- Proven track record in developing ethical AI frameworks for high-stakes applications
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for large-scale neural networks
- Experience with quantum computing ethics and algorithmic transparency
- Strong policy writing skills with published position papers or industry standards
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, Partnership on AI)
