You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neuroscientists, and policy architects to ensure technological progress aligns with human values and sustainable development goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI systems and neuro-technological interfaces
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on technological disruptions impacting 2026 societal structures
- Design stakeholder engagement protocols for cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for autonomous system governance models
- Author position papers on AI alignment challenges for regulatory bodies
- Establish metrics for measuring ethical impact of emerging technologies
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years in tech ethics
- Published research on AI alignment, quantum ethics, or neuro-ethics
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and limitations
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Responsible AI frameworks (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership in tech ethics publications
