Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive ethical guidelines for AI development and deployment
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Advise product teams on regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Lead cross-functional working groups addressing ethical dilemmas in AI systems
- Design transparent explainability protocols for high-stakes AI applications
- Research emerging AI ethics trends and publish industry thought leadership
- Stakeholder education on responsible AI practices and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- PhD or advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or governance roles
- Expertise in bias detection tools and fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or technology ethics journals
- Certification in AI ethics or data governance preferred
