Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive innovations (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, Web4.0)
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients on emerging tech adoption
- Manage $2M annual R&D budget for prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Publish quarterly industry foresight reports cited by MIT Tech Review
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Scanning Academy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum or similar tier-1 journals
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of implementing future-ready frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF/CFP preferred)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of 3+ technology transition roadmaps successfully executed
