Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for 2026+ tech trends (AI ethics, quantum adoption, Web4 infrastructure)
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech integration
- Lead moonshot projects with $1M+ annual budgets
- Present futures briefings to C-suite and enterprise clients
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor futurist apprentices in our incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in quantum/AI/Web3 (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (Delphi, TechScape)
- Portfolio of 3+ future-tech commercialization projects
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (STELLA, AnyLogic)
