Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead strategic workshops with stakeholders to align on future technology adoption pathways
- Conduct competitive intelligence on emerging tech patents and academic breakthroughs
- Author white papers and roadmaps for next-generation product ecosystems
- Manage innovation incubators focused on 2026+ technology horizons
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate frontier technology investments
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy discussions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published author in tech foresight or peer-reviewed innovation research
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of future-tech roadmaps or innovation frameworks
