Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Architect scalable frameworks for AI-human collaboration systems
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for next-gen innovation projects
- Present future-tech insights to Fortune 500 clients and investors
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in agile futurist methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight credential
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ tech trend predictions with 80%+ accuracy
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
