Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends with 3-5 year impact
- Design and validate prototype solutions using immersive VR/AR environments
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen human augmentation technologies
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in emerging technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into scalable products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology, or AI ethics
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology forecasting projects with measurable outcomes
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants from DARPA, NSF, or equivalent
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent industry disruption achievements
