Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across aerospace, biotech, and energy sectors
- Lead prototyping of quantum-resistant encryption systems and AI governance frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and government advisory boards
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in advanced systems thinking and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (patents required)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Experience leading international research consortia or government tech committees
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred for classified project collaboration
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
