Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological inflection points
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, ethicists, and domain experts in moonshot projects
- Identify and evaluate exponential technologies with 10x+ disruption potential
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships and government innovation grants
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Quantum Leap Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- Proven track record delivering breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three exponential tech domains (quantum, biotech, nanotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Executive presence with ability to influence Fortune 500 leadership teams
- PhD or equivalent in emerging technology, systems thinking, or futures research
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from foresight.org)
