Responsibilities
- Architect and lead advanced quantum algorithm research targeting 2026 computational milestones
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Collaborate with academic partners (MIT, Caltech, ETH Zurich) on cutting-edge quantum theory
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Secure $5M+ annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Pioneer quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for post-quantum security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architecture design
- Experience managing R&D teams with $2M+ budgets
