Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for 2026-era AI applications
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum algorithms with machine learning frameworks
- Develop error-corrected quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with DARPA and NASA on quantum-AI defense initiatives
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for experimental quantum-AI research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or AI with 3+ years industry experience
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum supremacy demonstrations
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum error correction protocols
- Track record of securing government research grants
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Experience with quantum hardware from IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ
