Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 societal and market projections
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurointerfaces, synthetic biology)
- Architect speculative innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Facilitate futures thinking workshops with C-suite executives
- Produce evidence-based trend reports and competitive disruption analyses
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with $1M+ annual budgets
- Represent company at global innovation forums and TED-style conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating work on 5+ year strategic technology initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, exponential technology assessment, and disruption modeling
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
