Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks that anticipate future disruptions and opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovation into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings on technological convergence and paradigm shifts
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops across global stakeholders
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and breakthrough opportunities
- Publish thought leadership on industry evolution and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism with demonstrable impact on long-term planning
- Expertise in technology convergence (AI, quantum, biotech) and socio-economic trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex cause-effect relationships
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through scenario planning and strategic alignment
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented future-oriented initiatives
