Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains to identify disruptive forces
- Develop and communicate strategic scenarios for 2026+ that inform product development and corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into business planning and innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members
- Establish thought leadership through published research, speaking engagements, and media partnerships
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Mentor junior strategists and build a foresight methodology framework across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Economics, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) and societal implications
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and influencing high-stakes strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or scenario planning projects
