Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Develop 5-year strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Author thought leadership reports and presentations for industry conferences
- Advise executive team on emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ markets
- Partner with venture capital team to identify breakthrough startups and technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or technology foresight roles
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic foresight projects
