Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging innovations into core business operations
- Present visionary forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven precision
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications positioning company as industry futurist authority
- Build and manage cross-functional futurist task forces across global markets
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators impacting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, technology forecasting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into executable business plans
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent methodology
